Lori Duquette, O.D. is a Primary Care Optometrist Eye Doctor at Duquette Family Eye Care serving N. Smithfield & greater Providence, RI area.  Dr. Duquette has been practicing optometry in Rhode Island for over 20 years. She completed her doctorate in Optometry at the New England College of Optometry, with clinical honors.

Dr. Duquette is the clinical director and owner of Duquette Family Eye Care; which is the culmination of a life-long dream to own a thriving practice and provide the kind of eye care she desires… patient oriented quality eye care in a family-friendly environment.

Dr. Duquette has been enjoying the position of clinical director for the Special Olympics Lions’ Club International Opening Eyes Program (SOLCIOE) since 2000. This is a volunteer program which provides free eye health and vision screenings as well as free eyewear to Special Athletes at the RI Summer Special Olympics held at URI. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Duquette is dedicated to providing excellent eye care in a professional, caring manner to patients of all ages. She has a special interest in caring for patients with diabetes, age related eye disease, dry eyes, and pre and post cataract surgery; as well as managing other various ocular pathologies.

Dr. Duquette is also especially proficient at fitting specialty contact lenses as well as pediatric eye care and contact lens fitting.
