Lori A. Duquette, OD
Dr. Duquette has been enjoying the position of clinical director for the Special Olympics Lions’ Club International Opening Eyes Program (SOLCIOE) since 2000. This is a volunteer program which provides free eye health and vision screenings as well as free eyewear to Special Athletes at the RI Summer Special Olympics held at URI. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Duquette is dedicated to providing excellent eye care in a professional, caring manner to patients of all ages. She has a special interest in caring for patients with diabetes, age related eye disease, dry eyes, and pre and post cataract surgery; as well as managing other various ocular pathologies. Dr. Duquette is also especially proficient at fitting specialty contact lenses and pediatric eye care and contact lens fitting. |

Erik Dingley, OD
Dr. Erik Dingley received his doctorate in Optometry, with honors, at the New England College of Optometry. He continued on to complete a residency in Ocular Disease/Primary Care at the Brockton Campus of the Veteran Affairs Boston Healthcare System with an emphasis on diabetic eye disease and glaucoma management. During his residency, Dr. Dingley was a tutor to current students at the New England College of Optometry. He has also been a lecturer for continuing education in optometry on such topics as optic neuritis and viral conjunctivitis.
Dr. Dingley has also presented cases on chiasmal neuritis and Foster-Kennedy Syndrome. |
Dr. Dingley manages age-related ocular conditions including cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma; as well as other inflammatory and vascular conditions that may affect your eyes. He is also very adept at diagnosing and treating any contact lens or pediatric issues that may occur.
Dr. Dingley has stayed local – growing up in Manville, RI, attaining his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA, and now working with our exceptional staff at Duquette Family Eye Care in, North Smithfield, RI.

Bryanna Caron, OD

Dr. Bryanna Caron was raised in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Dr. Caron earned her bachelor’s degree in Pre-Medical Sciences at MCPHS University, then proceeded to earn her Doctorate of Optometry at MCPHS University School of Optometry. While obtaining her Doctorate, Dr. Caron received an award for Excellence in Primary Care Optometry during her clinical rotations.
After graduating, Dr. Caron completed a residency at the Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System at the Brockton campus with emphasis on primary care optometry and ocular disease. During which time, she provided continuing education lectures and presented cases on the topics of ocular surface disease, retinal disorders, and diseases of the optic nerve.
At Duquette Family Eye Care, Dr. Caron sees patients for all aspects of primary care including routine eye exams for glasses, various types of contact lenses, and advanced ocular disease including dry eye, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration (AMD), and glaucoma.
